Don't Misunderstand Me
I did not mean at all the Microsoft is in any way superior, in fact that's what I was trying to say with that piece you quoted from me. But, I do not think that you can just draw the conclusion that becuase Apple rarely releases a patch that it's solely out of customer care. I'm sure that there's a few programmers who believe that over at Jobs's place, but looking at Mac adds and their website, a big piece of their campaign is "114,000 viruses? Not on a Mac." So, if they were to rush and put out patches, it might hurt their reputation.

I really believe that it's silly to put any sort of good natured will behind huge corporations like MS and Apple, at the end of the day, they care about the dollar, and that is all. Of course, they wouldn't make that dollar if they didn't put on that attitude...
