If it were DRM free from the beginning
besides not having a need to make the crack, would they have paid for it anyways? Does the anti DRM group encourage sales of otherwise DRM free media? Like software for other proponents, is media content free as beer and speech? If it's only tangible goods from finite resources that commands dollars, what are things to pay for. If DRM is the culprit, are there actions the solution? Believe me, I hate most DRM, I've boycotted CDs for years now. The latest Sony rootkit thing wasn't stopped by that lost of revenue though. So what will be the peak of both sides activities?
