True but I've thought that the way things were i.e. laws
and regulations pre 9/11 were fine and yes a compromise to
privacy and freedom none of which were complete and total. So
yes I except and have excepted compromisee however enough is
enough and "IF" you stop and think about it all we needed were a
few simple tweeks to the existing system. All our spy agencies
and law enforcement branches communicating not competing
for one. Enforcing the laws we already had on the books. A
little common sense also goes a long way.

Locing down our boarders for one....again making the laws we
have work as they should.

We did not need these new policies/regulations/laws to do the
job of making us safe (an illusion) we needed some common
sense and some people to do the job(s) they were already
assigned to do decades previous.

Besides as a rule we are pretty safe. It still takes a lot to get
here. organize and carry out attacks cause well as a general rule
the populations and infrastructure that makes them so danerous
in places like Afghanistan and iraq do not xist here and with
some simple imigration controls (like there always hould have
been in the first place) new invasive laws need not exist.

I would also hazard a guess that invading a country that had
little to nothing to do with 9/11 might have been a waiste of
needed resources like our youth and your money that could have
been used in other area's to ensurre our security.
