I am happy to hear that you keep up with anti-virus signature file updates but it isn't enough.

Anti-virus software is reactive, depending on the vendors to supply updates as soon as new virrii appear.

You are still at risk of getting infected while waiting for the latest to be sent out, downloaded, and installed.

Blindly trusting anti-viral and firewall software is a serious mistake.

One day it may very well bite you.
