That's rosy thinking
While Linux lacks that abomination known as "registry", and is inherently more secure, it (like any OS) has its flaws.

Microsoft is more popular, and Microsoft is also better known for releasing slipshod code.

Oh, it's more than a pun to say "Microsoft welcomes hackers with open arms".

But that doesn't mean other platforms are flawless.

And when those malicious website owners modify their sites to target Firefox and Linux, then Linux users would be in trouble too.

Most rules are the same; for one reason or another they do not yet apply.

Linux apps are typically better, no argument there. Buts yours is not an uncommon fallacy to believe in.
