You need to get those OpenOffice pilots a humming. Microsoft is particularly vulnerable right now with the switchover to the new interface and file format. You need to be demanding native support for ODF, and of course discounts. Pay no more than $25 per user per year for MS Office and make sure you do NOT use any of the "free" add-ons that lock you IN to MS Office, and lock you OUT of any discounts.

But, in the end, you need to be ready to move to OpenOffice and eliminate all of the security risks associated with MS Office. This will of course be part of what you need to make the switch to Linux and eliminate all of the other Windows risks.

But, be patient, take the migrations slowley. Focus first on wringing discounts out of MS and slowley eliminating MS Office and Windows dependencies, but at some time, the switch to Linux will be a no-brainer.
