two simple points
1) UNIX/BSD/Linux is much more relevant to ALL computers as they run critical functions of the Internet (DNS, web serving, telecomm blades, etc.) in the data centers of your bank and in R/D Labs that produce new results to make all human activities become more efficient, produce new drugs, solve engineering and scientific problems, and really make the world move forward.

The %98 in PCs (which is incorrect and more close to 93%) refers to the massive numbers of personal computers which carry out basic individual and office tasks.

Claiming that UNIX systems are not really relevant is almost as claiming that "since the vast majority of vehicles are cars then cargo ships, trains airplanes, oil tankers, etc. have no impact in our lives". Which is an "un-wise" statement.

2) The owners of these %98 of PCs should DEMAND from MS to FIX its platform since they have been spending $$$ and man-hours on it and permanent correction seems to be impossible or unwanted.

Incidentally all the platforms mentioned in 1) DO NOT suffers from any the numerous and severe defects ms windows does.

Not desiring to demand MS to take the right action and actually correct its platform is "weird" ?? ...
