Let's me see
Linux doesn't require a run time antivirus checker or antispyware program. There is a antivirus program available but it most likely isn't needed unless you are connecting to the Linux system with Windows PCs using Samba.

Ditto with a Mac system

Ditto with a BSD system

So this is a Microsoft problem. Interesting that MS's solution is to release their own security suite instead of fixing the problem at the OS level. A big conflict of interest.

Which brings me to a final question.

How many IT Proffessionals and IT business owners are supporting MS because of job security?

Also a conflict of interest. They have finacial stake in Microsoft's existance.

I for one was in this catagory and 20yrs later could not longer continue ignoring that my work was not contributing to a better PC world.
