While it lasts...
There was certainly a great deal of competition BEFORE MS decided to enter this market. I doubt that it will take long for MS to illegally leverage its monopoly and crush this market too.

It's really ironic and somewhat immoral to pay MS to protect us from, well, MS's poor software design and implementation but I guess there will always be those that applaud everything the Redmond beast does...
