Don't be so facilitating
Your thinking and attitude are what promotes the trash being dished out by the "kids" today. They are not held responsible or accountable in any kind of tangible manor for what they do to society. Their actions are brushed off as just being "kids", which is bull.
There have been millions of "kids" who have grown up as responsible citizens without the perverse activities that are so acceptable / excusable now.
There are no acceptable excuses for it to be otherwise. That is a choice that the "kid" makes, especially when he is old enough to know better and old enough to be going to university.

Two years in prison? No, but what he got was not near enough punishment to fit the crime nor to act as a deterrent to future dalliances of the same ilk. He should have lost on-line access for at least a year, and lost access to a computer for at least 6 months (even with college, he knew what he was doing).

The old clich? is so true; don't do the crime, if you can't do the time.
