Just because a company deploys a non-windows alternative, doesn?t mean its out for the bells and whistles. Who needs spell checkers except those who can?t spell to begin with. Stop relying on MS to hold your hand, and get some education. Did you know that the majority of students that relied on MS to correct their spelling didn?t do a dang thing for their grammar? I?m just guessing here but maybe you haven?t heard the reason for them using Unix or Solaris servers is because of their ability to withstand attacks better then a cardboard box Windows server installation? You can?t compare tried and true rock solid servers like Sun Microsoft?s systems to Windows, that?s an insult to Sun. it?s like comparing a Lamborghini to a bicycle.

As much as I hate MS I hate proud, talk out of your butt Linux people just as much. Always commenting on how great, stable and so forth. Well, get your face out of your butt, and start making some of these programs available on the Linux platform or SHUT THE HELL UP. If you can?t give alternatives to Windows users, your just wasting time and space on this blog touting a program that will forever remain small. You are the minority, and people are beginning to ignore you.

Microsoft put out a patch to fix a patch, that was suppose to fix a vulnerability, which never should have been there in the first place. This month of August has been the worst to date patch cycle due to all the problems it created and not fixed. The problems are now more compounded with the patches then before the patch. I?ve had to go around to each workstation and uninstall all August dated patches, Stop and disable the automatic update service, reset some programs the Malicious tool thought to be malicious. This screw up cost the company much time and expense for me to go out there and fix the unfixable. I believe the client is better off not updating the system as these so called patches don?t patch anything or protect any better then before the patch was deployed.

Remember when WGA came out as a critical patch and now it?s not a choice, but mandatory? Hey out there, has anyone noticed that WGA came out again through Critical updates, and this time without warning, or without EULA, and totally uninstallable or detectable?

And for those of you who ***** about wire tapping here in the good old US of A, how illegal it is, how it invades your privacy, Microsoft sends more information though their WGA fiasco then what we pick up in wire taps, and they are doing this around the world? Where is Nixon when we need him? So, try not to ***** about President Bush, don?t ***** about wire tapping, or invasion of privacy. ***** about Microsoft giving the Windows source code to communist China, Russia, North Korea, Europe and denying it to the United States. There is no bigger communist than Microsoft. Some don?t care, and rightly so, as long as you think you are safe, fine, but remember, our rockets, defense systems and interception technology is running on a windows base. And given the crash rate, I hope your happy when the missiles are sent and our systems go down due to a bug check, and can?t reboot because it found this version of windows is illegal.
