Like you said, that's Microsoft for you...
...fixing the fix that was supposed to be fixed by the fix they issued to fix something that was already fixed (but found later to not be fixed).

2 things struck me as funny. The first was Loverock bragging how MS came out with this fix and how he loaded it on his machine (witout any testing or anything) only to find out later they had to fix the fix (keep on braggin about MS, they never let anyone down). This post being the second.

And MS has probably the worst record about being "open" with their software flaws. Anyone that has to have a EULA not allowing testing of products like SQL without their exclusive permission just goes to show how "open" they really are.
