I'm confused what did the post say that has hateful? He just laid out the facts. And the facts are that a few years ago linux didn't have an application base which would allow a person to function and be productive using it as a desk top. And a few short years later it does. While those apps aren't a slickly marketed as the Microsoft apps the linux apps do function well and are great for the price which for the most part is free. There's nothing hateful about that it's just the way it is. On the Windows side, only time will tell if Microsoft is going to get some QA in place that doesn't have the installed user base doing the testing for Microsoft.
