Circle talk and pointess argument.
You talk in circles, its crazy! It might fool some people because I think it even appears to have you fooled. Just incase you do not actually realize how circular and pointless your argument actually is let me uncoil its ridiculous state for you. First you say;
?MS software is more vulnerable to malware because of how it's designed.....for ease of use....and if it's designed for ease of use, you get inexperienced users using it?

Now there is nothing wrong with that part of your statement, it?s actually true and because of that it sounds like your actually going to be saying something that makes sense. Its right after that you start the circular argument;
?.....hence the need for greater security....and greater responsibility on the part of the software maker to make their software more secure....?

Now both those statements are your words not mine mdsmedia! Either you are correct in your first statement that Windows is inherently less secure then it could be due to design issues necessitated for ease of use by inexperienced users, ( of course it makes it even easier for experienced users as well), or, you can alternatively rely on your second part of your statement instead; that MS actually needs to make their OS more secure and hence then abandon the ease of use issue which is important to inexperienced users in particular, interestingly enough who are those who you say need the security the most.

Of course, you claim that the issue is that Microsoft is charging for what should be had for free in order to keep their inherently insecure OS more secure. That in itself is also dead wrong as there are already plenty of very good free antivirus systems, firewalls and antispyware systems which have been available for many years now and never has anyone made a reasonable argument claiming that MS should be supplying all of these for free themselves, although some of these things MS do have available for free.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if MS ever starts offering a complete security system for free the same people who now claim they should be giving it away will just start screaming that MS is being anticompetitive with third party security vendors. For those who just plain hate MS and Windows there will never be any way that MS can ever do the right thing no matter what the issue or outcome because the ?We hate Windows? gang is quick to talk from the other side of their face as soon as MS actually does something the gang has said they should do.
