RedHat itself may be hosting for them, even though i don't believe they host much of anything that is not theirs, but hey i could be wrong. After 2 years of being a known vulnerability, you'd be led to think that it was the sys admins fault. There was a patch, it was NOT implemented. If redhat itself were hosting, i'm sure that they have plenty on their plate at the moment other than to make sure something was done for another company. The sys admin would still have to keep up to date on patches for software/aplications he was running no matter who hosted or what dist he/she was using. I still find the sys admin responsible, and i think many would agree if they just think about it in detail.
As always, my opinion, and everyone is entitled to their own. - Posted by: Monkey_MCSE Posted on: 03/25/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
