For heaven's sake.
You know, sooner or later the terrorists will develop an explosive device that doesn't show up on x-rays and that can be swallowed or implanted before the passenger even arrives at the airport. Or they'll perfect a technique for spreading some deadly disease that no one will detect until long after everyone on a plane has been exposed. What will the airlines or the government do then, ban air travel altogether?

Risk is part of life, people. We take our lives into our own hands every time we get in a car, board a ride at Disney World, or indeed, get up in the morning. Get used to it.
