I see no reason to buy a Symantec product anyway
I mean, of COURSE they're going to find some vulnerabilities, their business depends on it. The whole Symantec software suit has been in steady free-fall in terms of quality for years now. Its slow, its bulky and even let some viruses through that were found immediately by other scanners. Symantec can say what they want, but I know I'll go elsewhere for an antivirus solution when the time comes.
