Yes but...
Isn't Active Directory supposed to be there at least in part to help configure a corporate LAN's machines en masse? Isn't there some way they can roll out the service pack, and update all their configurations to disable the firewall (hopefully because they have another firewall on the LAN) through Active Directory?

Of course if you don't use Windows Server 2000 or 2003 that shoots my theory. But then again, since when has MS given any sympathy for people not using their products?
