Aluminum foil works fine
Don't worry about the RFID it only points to your profile in a State Dept. database. Worry about some gvt. worker taking the database home on his laptop - like at VA - that's the bigger security risk. If you want to disable the tag slide a piece of alumin foil next to the tag - it will change the resonant frequency and the tag won't read with the foil on it. Take it off before the customs guys scan it. If it's next to your body ti will only read an inch or so anyway.
