My initial reaction was to chastise you for such a blatant advertisement, and for suggesting a platform-specific tool where a platform-independent tool was being offered.
After doing a little research, however, it appears that SiteAdvisor is compatible with Linux and OSX, and additional browser support is planned. Generally I don't like McAfee's products (I like to have a little processor time and memory available for my _own_ use, thank you very much; plus I don't use Windows), but this might actually be worth trying.....
