Statistically speaking, it's more likely that employee you just fired is going to hack your system than some nameless person on the the Internet.

Never had to fire anyone, but if I did they'd no longer have access to my network. They might not be nameless, but they'd have to come in from the outside. So once again, if they could access my network printer, the printer would be the least of my worries.
