Agreed - Wishing Doesn't Make Indian Quality Bad
Unfortunately, the IT job market in the US is virtually dead, and there's really nothing else to retrain for. Sure, there are always openings for retail clerks, cashiers, and burger flippers, but who can live on minimum wage?
