Every day is dooms day according to the press. It's either someone dropping an imaginary bomb on us or some lunitic has devised the "end of the world as we know it" virus
Contrary to reports rarely has more than .0000005% of the world's computers are ever affected by the one virus.
The same goes for wars. Iraq for example represents less than .001% of the world yet we all act as if it is the world.
I do not want to spend half my computer time just updating and performing security scans just as I am not going to spend my life digging out a bomb shelter.
Irresponsible media love a doomsday story and so do the plethora of anti virus vendors. Just look at who sponsors this article. - Posted by: whoozhe@... Posted on: 08/04/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
