We all know that 99.9% of the attendees, working for banks, major software companies etc., will do as asked take the new OS back to the office and see what can be done to penetrate the security and report back as asked. Its the other .1% that I'd be worried about. (Not to mention the individuals that are not attending). The cost prohibitive attendance keeps the real basement/garage hackers from getting the system for evaluation.
That .1% can now have a head start on hacking the system by finding the flaws and not using their findings til Vista is in mass distribution.
Hear that panting in the background? Thats the basement/garage hackers salivating over the prospect of a brand new system to enter with their rootkits and other malicious code.
