Maynor, along with researcher Jon "Johnny Cache" Ellch, showed a video of a successful attack on an Apple Computer MacBook. However, the attack is possible also on other computers, both laptops and desktops, and not just MacBooks, the researchers said.

Let me get this straight: you are upset because this vulnerability was demonstrated on a MacBook? Can I assume that you wouldn't have been upset if this vulnerability had been demonstrated on a Dell running Vista with the disclaimer that However, the attack is possible also on other computers, both laptops and desktops, and not just Dells running Vista, the researchers said.?

If anything, this only legitimizes Macs as more mainstream and you should take the fact that they used a MacBook to demonstrate a platform independent vulnerability as a compliment!

Mac zealots make me laugh. Thanks for brightening my day. happy
