- No your point was that it was 3rd party so ...
- ... it wasn't a threat but in truth they could have used the in the box driver with third party hardware. Since the hack is against the driver this could very well be an issue that affects all Mac WiFi users. The fact that you pointed out there is a market for third party software only increases the attack surface and does not mitigate it. "Apple"pologist that you are, you are trying to minimize the threat because you just can't grasp the point that your favorite platform may be threatened. It is that type of thinking that will leave the Mac user base vulnerable to attack.
