- Linux and Virtual Windows US Born
-
If you are going to fight a war on terrorism you have to go after those who are supporting the terrorists. The FBI should call for legislation that prohibits anyone working on a US based network (governement or private) who is not a US citizen from doing so. No ifs ands or buts. You convert from green card to US citizen or join the ranks of the unemployed. Give the trustworthy a year to do so.
An interesting note. The US governement already prohibits those without college degrees from working on a US technology project. Technically Bill Gates can not work on a Federal progect.
Then there is Linux which has been patched through open source to close the defect in all X86 archetecture. If you must run Windows software then Virtual Windows on top of Linux, not the other way around is promissing.
As with all security it is not if but when. However these basic items should be done now.
