On a Mac...
...nothing happens. You can't run an .exe file in OS X.

Of course, if you happen to have VirtualPC and Windows installed on a Mac that's booted into OS X, then you can get it to run, but that's not really running in OS X. You have to launch the virtual machine, then boot it in Windows, and then the .exe file will run...but why anyone would do that with an .exe file about which they weren't completely certain isn't clear to me.

And I guess that's why malware like this succeeds. Some people are just plain stupid. It has nothing to do with Windows.
