Excellent Article - Now the Fix - Java Applets
Hazzah to Bill Joy!, the CFSD has forgiven him.

Add these to the questions.

Is there anything that is done in scripting that can not be done in Java on the server side using Servelets and Web Services or on the client side using Applets?

Is there anything that scripting can not do in comparison to Java?

What is the reason Java coders are paid more than script writers and was it this payment issue that explains its use?

Is not Microsoft the only software house now supporting scripting on the server side and is that support owing primarily to management's reconition of Java as a threat to its monopolisic and found illegal business model?

Then you can get into dynamic servlet processing with JSP code and ask why servlet processing is better than Applets?

Answers of course are availible just for the asking. These are exciting times for the Java trained and the untrained. For the Microsoft certified - the road ahead is a hard but not impossible one. It takes time to unlearn.
