Look Further!
I was simply making a point in the interest of us all who come here with true reason and intention... I am entitled to my opinion just the same as the rest of us... It's Ironic... Your own post did nothing but to complain in the beginning also... So, Im sorry but you contradicted yourslf ever so slightly!

So.. I now ask you to look further to my second post where you will see that i took the time to search for what Freeware Rootkit Detection tools that were out there... I hope that you find them useful also...

You also hit a good point about Microsoft. I too hope that they have realised by now of how useless their OS systems actually are and also hope that they have learnt by their past failures. They say that both Vista and IE 7.0 are being developed with security as a top priority. But doesn't this statement sound familiar? What was it they said prior to the release of XP? About the integrated firewall and better program file structure etc? I have never in my life experienced such a useless piece of security software (Re: Firewall).

So, in saying this, I am not holding my breath or holding hope on Vista and IE 7 being of much use either when it comes to online security and reliability. All we can do is wait and see I suppose.
