RFID Drawbacks?
If active RFID allows for more remote sensing what is to stop an "intelligent" landmine being made to be buried and set to wait for ammunition or medical supplies.

Similarly, can a sensitive enough detector be made small enough to allow for "drone" miniature recon devices to overfly an area and detect stores areas by the noise given off by the many RFID units operating.

The transmitting units t6o activate the RFID's need not be in the mines or drones respectively but can be a beamed transmission from a transmitter sited elsewhere.

Of course, countermeasures could be designed but have they been considered.
