What I said was that this wasn't a weakness in Firefox, it was a weaknes in an email client for allowing executable attachments that would then run a Windows executable payload which would in turn infect your Firefox installation.

The *implication* is that the infection path for this is through WINDOWS as the payload is unlikely to run on Linux unless WINE is installed.

"It does not take much brain power to write a very malicious linux executable which will leave you scratching your head once you have allowed it to execute"

True enough, but that is not what we are talking about here.

Grow up yourself. I did not say that this was a Windows fault. I said that the weakness here was the user.

It is however a fact that the current implementation of this trojan is Windows based. That's not anti-MS, that's just the way it is.
