Why not update?
One of my company's main vendors has written their website (which we NEED to use) to run on IE only! We MUST use IE, even if we prefer a different browser.

They have said that we should NOT update to IE7 until it has passed their ITD testing.

That's the big deal. If we have users (and they WILL exist) who just automatically update everything, IT will need to take care of the problems.

We're downloading the blocking tool and pushing it to the desktops, so this (hopefully) will take care of the problem before it happens.
