You know that what you said did not happen...
unless done intentionally by someone with account ON that machine. The conditions for what U mentioned to happen are too extreme and far uncommon.

Someone must

1)be scanning millions of IP addresses 2)then accidentally hits the one with port 22 open and then
3) he tries at random accounts strings and
4) he then tries at random passwds and then he gets in?

The probability of that is close to ZERO.

Which UNPATCHED PRIVILEGE ESCALATION defect did they use to escalate to root?


And, if I can guess an easy passwd in Vista I have LESS power than what you just described?
