I don't see any differnce. Where you're a little safer is that you use Linux and Linux users are little more knowledgable. They often keep things patched, they use a firewall, and aren't as suceptible to social engineering. Then always consider that most users with little knowledge on security use Windows and Windows has the vulnerbilities that may go unpatched so who are these criminals going to target.
