Is this possible....
Can some IT professionals actually be seeing something that most are refusing to see? That the user is the only solution that will ultimately get the job done? And that as in every industry, education of the person and placing accountability at that level is the only way to accomplish anything. Spend resources on anything without first educating those who are involved in the activity in question is a total waste of those resources. I have replied to articles in the IT news stressing the user as the only answer until my keyboard has worn out. Until this article, no one has given this idea the time of day. I guess there are a few insightful and intelligent IT proponents out there. They are just being drowned out by those don't have a clue about IT. Lot of IT "pros" were successful in installing Windows 95 or 98 and suddenly were transformed from their previous calling to an IT professional. Remarkable. Most were eventually brought back down to earth. Some actually had what it took and endured the real transformation which required blood, sweat and tears and some very expensive dues. IT is still licking its wounds received from those who eventually fell back to Earth, however. Ouch, I just removed a splinter. I've always wanted to be a doctor.
