What's it going to take...?
How many more examples of bad programming in Microsoft products is it going to take before the consumer stands up and make Microsoft accountable for puting the public in danger. Every other industry in the world is required to follow the standards of merchantability. Puting the consumer at risk by selling dangerous products has never been tolerated. Microsoft has been so intent on forcing upgrades gaining total control of the PC olatform that the consumer's weel being has been totally and arrogantly disregarded. Microsoft has more influence and control over the future of IT than all the other players combined. They have totally abused this position and willfuly disregarded the responsibility that comes with such power. How much more damage will the consumer endure before Microsoft is made to take responsibility for the willful disregard of the consumer's safety. While the trash that is spreading this havoc should be burned at the stake, this in NO WAY relieves Microsoft of their obligation to practice due dilligence in the production of their product. A few issues can be understood, but this has become a never ending problem. How can this be seen as anything less than abhorant behavior by Microsoft. The consumer handed Microsoft their position and trusted Microsoft to respect that position. Microsoft in return has gouged the customer and proceeded with a totally self serving agenda which has cost the consumer dearly. How can the world not recognize where the root of our IT problems is planted? How can anyone defend Microsoft after looking at the overwhelming evidence that continues to be introduced on a daily basis?
