If I work at a workplace with my HP laptop connected to the Internet...
then I will have to bring my router with me AND block HP's access to my laptop no matter what HP's doing... HP will never find a weakness in my laptop. There's no way HP will do that for good or worse, even if HP respects my privacy.

That's my way of using my laptop and my security defense is me. No rights from the outside. Speaking of outside, not only hackers, but also includes HP.
