I'll say it slowly
If you type in the name of a desktop shortcut that's what you get. Not a 404 error, not half the graphics not appearing, not server not found, not some bloody stupid Flash intro. You actually get what you requested. If you are stupid enough to have a shortcut with the same name as a web site then you need to put http:// before it to get the web site.

It's an address line. Get over it.
