Get Real!
Windows is no more the cause of these viruses than any other OS. How do we know it's not a Linux, OSX, OS2, or another OS who's user is writing these viruses and makeing them work on windows OS's??? Fact of the matter is WE DONT KNOW! Just because these viruses work on Windows exploiting bugs and flaws doesnt mean its Microsoft's fault that scumbag virus wirters/spammers are using it to make life online miserable.

Blame the spammer and virus writer who sits on his dead A**'s writing and sending out virus laced emails. Blame the user who does have enough sense by now to get AV and firewall software on thier system and keep it updated. If these lowlifes virus writers werent pouring over MS code looking for exploits, Windows OS wouldn't have problems.

And dont say Linux is better cause its more secure cause it isn't. When Linux has more market share and more users it will become an avenue to spread viruses. Just Like Windows.
