Read my post just a little more carefully
It takes everything I said in my post to be safe. The machine you disinfected was compromised through Outlook. I'm not any more fond of MS than you are, but answer this question instead of spewing away: given all of the precautions in the post you responded to, how can a machine get infected? Remember, 2 firewalls; up-to-date AV software; no IE, Outlook, Outlook Express, IIS, or SQL Server; and confirming all received attachments with sender. No more Windows is insecure, and that's a fact blathering -- we already know that. It's time to answer the question, and knowing the IP address beforehand does not count.
