Typical clueless reply; go after Microsoft, everything is their fault. Couldn't possibly be a "busted user", oh no.

I'll clue you in: First of all, it is a given that if you let malware run on your system, it isn't your system anymore. All bets are off. So the main impediment is not to be stupid in the first place, and run things you should not.

And the key point: If you take a moron user and put him on a Mac or on Linux, that moron user is going to run any malware that comes his or her way. Regardless of platform.

And I can prove it. Just look at the latest malware that runs on Windows--Bagle variants C through G. These worms are sent inside PASSWORD-PROTECTED ZIP archives. That's right--our stupid user has to launch the ZIP file, MANUALLY ENTER A PASSWORD, then run the executable code inside.

And you're telling me that this kind of idiot, if moved en masse to the Linux platform, won't simply allow anything received in the inbox to run, and then RUN IT? Don't be stupid.
