Good Question,
As it turns out, IE7 is actually far more prevalent that I suspect than many people know. When it was first released in beta, two versions previous to this, I was telling a lot of people about it, and within a few weeks most of the people I found myself asking if they had it said yes, it seems that it got spread around by word of mouth, you know, one has it, then two, then four then eight, next thing hundreds are hooking up their family and friends.

There is a glitch in the new IE 7 beta 3 though, you cannot install it in many instances very easily without installing the previous version, and that can amount to actually copying and pasting a run command (take heart ye Linux users!!) in order to uninstall a previous version of IE7 and actually revert to your original IE6. And there I thought my IE 6 was gone fore ever, I guess I should have known, but ya, IE 6 come right back on the IE 7beta 2 uninstall.

So, you might want to save the download for IE 7beta 3 to the desktop as that will save even looking for the download after the revert to IE6 again. At any rate, Ive been using IE 7 beta 3 all evening now, and it is particularly quick I have noticed, if you figure the anti phishing is not something you are going to require it can be shut down and the webpages snap extraordinarily fast for a beta release.

At any rate it looks and performs well, and despite the warning about some websites not being ready for IE 7/3, I have checked every webpage that had a few glitches that I had found with the original release of IE7 and they all load fast and perfect, all links working so it looks fairly good to go.

Oh! By the way, I know there are a pile of people out there who really hate Windows and IE, and that?s all fine and well, but this isn?t addressed to you. We get it, you think Microsoft is run by the devil, and XP and IE are the devils pitchfork and brimstone and those who use it are going to burn, we get it, but please, don?t bother reminding me through a response to this unless you really want to discuss the issue with some kind of reason.
