If you read the article
There is a good reason for this. First it's all about revenue,
Microsoft could care less about product quality. Vista will most
likely be the most expensive version of windows to date. On top of
that add in the subscription fee for one care. I believe the next
version of windows (from earlier articles) will be a pay per play
service. Vista is here to get people used to the pay a monthly fee
model.
