"IF Microsoft secure Windows." (and all the apps which have the same kind of problems.)
Well after having witnessed 15 years of trying without success, I don't think they'll ever make it. Looks like they just can't.

"But in the real world, no software is bug free and the more you change the more doors are opened and stuff left to fix in the future"
On the other hand in my 35 years in IT, I have never seen a more bugridden product suite then what has been marketed by Microsoft. Recalling all the thousands of fixes, most of them of the type "A bug has been discovered that makes it possible for anybody to take full controlof your PC by visiting a web-site", although it is always packed with a lot of words like malicious and evil, this is the base message. The question always pops up: "Is this something from the major supplier of PC SW - or something cooked up by two teenagers in a garage?
Also it is not a question of something to be fixed in the future. It is something to be fixed before it is released, so the world don't have to act as live beta-testers. Most people unknowingly install their beta SW in real production environments, that's why it has been word of the wise to wait until servicepack 1.
