Compete with Wal-Mart no you can't....
It boils down to this, the company is ran by the shareholders, they want money so they do whatever it takes to make them money.

Privately held is the way to go, Redhat, Novell are no different than MS to make money. They will forget and squash the little guy in order to make a buck.

It would be like trying to compete with Wal-Mart selling tires, they will sell at a loss to put you under then raise the prices back up after you are out of business and doors closed.

Happens everyday, big box stores sell a bunch of China imported junk but it is CHEAP NO one cares about quality, just the price, so you get what you cry for in the end...

Cheap, no one wants to pay for anything made in the usa because you can buy a clone of it for 1/2 the price. Oh well, when you see companies running over to China building HUGE development centers like Intel and the rest of the Big Corps that tells you they know America is a has been country or a shell waiting to implode on itself.

Disagree call it what you will, but fact is NO one is investing in America anymore the debt is so huge and growing larger everyday with nothing that is going to change it. Until China and the rest dump the dollar, then you will see people fall on their knees crying the blues.
