Yay, Netware has had this for more than several years
And guess what, Netware's version wasn't exploited to spam everyone and their grandma. Oh but Microsoft had to integrate it with the OS and give every PC and open door for the outside world to walk in and annoy the hell out of you.

This is a case of Microsoft did it, but everyone else has already done it and done it better, but Microsoft dumbed it down for the common folk.
