NOW people are deserving of what they contract
i got one of the new virus's or worms in my inbox over the weekend.

it consisted of a password protected zip file (to get around antivirus programs that scan zip's) with simply the line of something like "check the included file, here's the password" and then the password to open it.

if people are THAT determined to infect themselves, and THAT slow witted, then honestly.... just ship the computer back, or better yet, give it to a 9 year old who can do something usefull with it.

these are NOT "windows" or "microsoft" vulnerabilities anymore. this is pure social engineering. if everyone were on linux, the same people who go through the process to infect themselves in this manner, would suredly be able to accomplish it on whatever OS they are using.
