You are a little too easy... follow your "wisdom" and don't get upset

before talking.

My little fellow, your fuzzy perception of reality may had some CREDIT IF there were NO OTHER systems that are MORE SECURE, MORE STABLE and MORE COMPLEX than this Barbie "OS" which you seem to admire so much. Why really? Defies logic...

Let me help you out a little, HOPING that you can wake up one morning and smell the donuts:

I know of TRUE OSs which can run on ccNUMA SMPs from a few 10s of processors to a few 1000s of them. These OSs are efficient and very stable. They have to contend with a MUCH HARSER and difficult to handle environment, yet they do so efficiently and w/o a hitch (unlike the MS Barbie "OS")

The same systems allow several 10,000s of concurrent processes to run, while they handle 10,000s of I/O to a wide number of I/O devices (fibre-channel arrays, infiniband and GigE or 10GigE networks, etc.)

The same systems handle efficiently TeraBytes of DRAM whithout chocking and allow 100s to 1000s of users solve very complex problems.

As for the devices they need to deal efficiently with 100s of devices, belonging to a wide variety of I/O device types.

Most importantly, the SAME systems are EXTREMELY STABLE and SECURE.

If I was not familiar with these types of REAL systems I could give you some benefit of the doubt.

It is unfortunate that you just don't give some benefit of the doubt to other people which maybe much more educated and skilled than you (let alone with more common sense )

Suck it up and go to get some University Classes to get on with your life
