No you do not have to type slower but you could explain to us just how Linux or for that matter any OS would prevent spam if the ISP and/or filtering software didn't do it. Face it spam is an OS netural problem. It occurs no matter what you use and you will get it unless you use some means to filter it.

So save the preaching for an article that is correct for it not one about something that affects all OS's.
